Michael J. Fox's show just wasn't funny

Michael J. Fox blames the time slot on the failure of his latest show. (www.studiobriefing.net/2014/03/michael-j-fox-no-death-sentence-for-his-series-yet/) The co-creator references his Parkinson's disease. Seriously, people! The show just wasn't funny! (That's kind of a prerequisite for a comedy.) He thought he could skate by on his personality, wit, and name recognition. The writing was horrible! I wanted to like it but could only stomach a few episodes before giving up. When will Hollywood realize "it's about the writing, stupid!"

(Incidentally, the same thing could be said for Letterman. Used to be fun and creative, now just a crotchety old guy phoning it in. Fallon has nothing to worry about!)
